The End of UKIP? 3 March 2007

Surely it’s got to be the end for Ukip? Their terrible by-election performances, the KCC elections gaffe, late accounts, fine for accepting illegal donations, failure to improve their poll figures despite the higher profile new leader (except YouGov), the suspension of a senior MEP for “financial irregularities” (having previously lost 2 of their 2004 intake), threats of resignation from 2 further MEPs, entire associations resigning, defeated leadership contenders resigning, and now the scandal that the party deselected a candidate due to disability – later attempting an awful cover up that it was an “act of kindness”.

Ukip gives a bad name to the anti-EU movement. The only vehicle for Euroscepticism and abolitionists is the Conservative Party.

Agree with you entirely about UKIP’s imminent demise.

But “[t]he only vehicle for Euroscepticism and abolitionists is the Conservative Party.” Really?

Are you suggesting, in all seriousness, that “Call me Dave” is going to take us out of the EU? Or that any Tory will do this, in a million years? He isn’t, and they aren’t, and any genuine opponent of the EU is just wasting their time in the Tory Party.

Don’t be so wicked. I will have to get a proper job if UKIP fold…

I think that Mark Twain said ‘Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.’

UKIP are political damaged goods. They are a laughing stock and have started the downward journey into a long and drawn out terminal decline.

They had a great political product that tapped into popular anti-EU sentiment. UKIP was feared by tories up and down the country. Now they are nothing more than a joke.

The sleaze exposed so far and the future sleaze that is to come will kill off the electoral threat from UKIP. Watching UKIP is like watching a car crash in slow motion.

Dream on, Tory boy – we’re not going away!

Four weeks of largely contrived attacks from the Tory Sunday papers have failed to make a dent.

Is that all you’ve got?

We have only just begun!

Blue Labour first

Real Labour next

You are on notice!

I almost left UKIP after I heard about Farage shagged some pole – the EU forces us to take them in, we don’t want those types here taking our jobs, houses and F**king up the NHS.

“The only vehicle for Euroscepticism and abolitionists is the Conservative Party”
Can I smoke what you’re smoking?

To state the truth of the matter, let us correct the above ridiculous and blatant propaganda:-

Correction:-

Ukip gives a good name to the anti-EU movement. The only vehicle for Europhillia and integrationists is the Conservative Party.

Why is there so much hate for UKIP amongst the anti-EU movement? Any party or organisation that wants the UK out of the EU (I’d settle for just England out) has my support.
I believe that the powers that be want to keep things as they are by infiltrating any anti-EU group and spreading disharmony, thereby keeping us at each others throats instead of concentrating on taking on our real enemy, the EU.
Why else would someone who claims to work for UKIP & uses the name UKIP@HOME be saying such things? Read between the lines and make up your own mind.
As for “The only vehicle for Euroscepticism and abolitionists is the Conservative Party”, look at who got us into this mess in the first place. Remember “in Europe, not run by Europe”? Thats like saying in prison but not run by prison.
For now I’ll keep supporting and voting for any party that is (genuinely) anti-EU (not including far right rascists, fascists or ex-terrorists, obviously)
Regards to anyone who wants out of the EU-SSR, whatever party, group or organisation you belong to.

Oops, sorry. I just had a look at UKIP@HOME’s site and they definately do not work for UKIP, my mistake.
